【摘要】:1.1TheserequirementscoverdevicesandsystemsintendedforuseinaccordancewiththeNationalElectricalCode(NEC),ANSI/NFPA70,Article625,toreducetheriskofelectricshocktotheuserfromaccessibleparts,ingroundedorisolatedcircuitsforchargingelectricvehicles.Thesecircuitsareexternaltooron-boardthevehicle.1.2Thedevicesandsystemscoveredbytheserequirementsmustbecompatiblewiththedesignsofchargingsystemsandvehicleswhereuseisintendedandshallberatedaccordingly.Toassurecompatibility,thefeaturescontainedin1.3-1.5arerequiredofthechargingsystem,thevehicle,orboth.1.3Thetypeofvehiclecoveredbytheserequirements,includingallaccessibleconductivepartsonthevehicle,haveoneormoreofthefollowing:a)Provisionfortheconnectionofanequipmentgroundingconductorduringbatterycharging,unlessthevehiclehasasystemofreinforcedordoubleinsulationorallofthecircuitryonthevehicleiselectricallyisolatedfromthesupplycircuit;b)Provisionfortheconnectionofground-monitoringconductors,whererequired;c)Reinforcedinsulationorbedouble-insulatedfromthesupplycircuit;ord)Nodirectconnectionbetweencurrentcarryingconductorsandthevehiclechassis.1.4Theserequirementscoverdevicesandsystemswherethegroundingpathimpedanceofthechargingsystemtothevehicleislessthanorequaltotheimpedanceoftheungroundedconductororconductors.1.5Theserequirementscoverdevicesandsystemswhereacontinuouscurrentlessthan70mARMSisavailablefromanyaccessiblepartofthechargingsystem.1.6Devicescoveredbytheserequirementsareintendedtointerrupttheelectriccircuittotheloadwhen:a)Afaultcurrenttogroundexceedssomepredeterminedvaluethatislessthanthatrequiredtooperatetheovercurrentprotectivedeviceofthesupplycircuit,b)Thegroundingpathbecomesopen-circuitedorbecomesanexcessivelyhighimpedance,orc)Apathtogroundisdetectedonanisolated(ungrounded)system.1.7Thesedevicesandsystemsareintendedtobeappliedonelectricalsystemsorincludederivedsystemsthatare:a)Eitherend-groundedorcentrallygroundedwhentheoperatingvoltageis150Vrmsorless,b)Centrallygroundedwhentheoperatingvoltageisgreaterthan150Vrms,orc)Isolated(ungrounded).1.8Chargingcircuitinterruptingdevicescoveredbytheserequirementsareinvestigatedfortheirabilitytoprovideprotectionbasedon:a)Thetypeofcurrent(60HzAC,DC,acombinationofACandDC,orACatfrequenciesgreaterthan60Hz)presentinthecircuittobeprotected,andb)Voltage.1.9Theserequirementsdonotcoverground-faultcircuit-interrupters(GFCIs)intendedforuseaspersonnelprotectioninaccordancewiththeNationalElectricalCodeongrounded120Vrmstoground,60Hzcircuits.SuchdevicesarecoveredundertheStandardforGround-FaultCircuit-Interrupters,UL943.1.10ThisstandardincludestheScope,Glossary,andDescriptionofRequirements,includingtherequiredfeaturesofprotectionsystems.TheStandardforPersonnelProtectionSystemsforElectricVehicle(EV)SupplyCircuits:ParticularRequirementsforProtectionDevicesforUseinChargingSystems,UL2231-2,containsthePerformanceandConstructionrequirementsforprotectivedevicesthatwouldbecomeapartofachargingsystem.
