【摘要】:Driersacceleratethedryingofoil,paint,printingink,andvarnish.Thesetestmethodsareapplicabletoliquiddriersmanufacturedforuseinpaintsandrelatedcoatings.Thetestsformetalliccontentusingethylenediaminetetraaceticaciddihydrate(EDTA)areintendedforconcentratedsolutionsofsinglemetals;twoormoremetalsmaycauseinterference.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthetestprocedurestobeappliedtoliquidpaintdriersusedinpaintsandrelatedcoatings.Typicalpaintdriers,listedinSpecificationD600,arecarboxylatesoflead,cobalt,manganese,zinc,iron,calcium,andzirconium.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
