【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthecharacteristicsof90mmOpticalDiskCartridges(ODC)withacapacityof230MbytesperCartridge.TheStandardspecifiesthreerelated,butdifferentimplementationsofsuchcartridges,viz.TypeR/WProvidesfordatatobewritten,readanderasedmanytimesoverthewholerecordingsurfaceofthediskusingthethermo-magneticandmagneto-opticaleffects.TypeP-ROMProvidesforapartofthedisksurfacetobeembossedbystampingorothermeans.Thispartofthediskisreadwithoutrecoursetothemagneto-opticaleffect.AllpartswhicharenotembossedprovidefordatatomeettherequirementsofTypeR/W.TypeO-ROMProvidesforthewholeofthedisksurfacetobeembossedandreproducedbystampingorothermeans.Thistypeofdiskisreadwithoutrecoursetothemagneto-opticaleffect.TypeR/W,TypeP-ROMandType0-ROMarealsoreferredtoas"fullyrewritable","partiallyembossed"and"fullyembossed",respectively.ThisInternationalStandardspecifies-theconditionsforconformancetestingandtheReferenceDrive;-theenvironmentsinwhichthecartridgesaretobeoperatedandstored;-themechanicalandphysicalcharacteristicsofthecartridge,soastoprovidemechanicalinterchangeabilitybetweendataprocessingsystems;-theformatoftheinformationonthedisk,bothembossedanduser-written;includingthephysicaldispositionofthetracksandsectors,theerrorcorrectioncodes,andthemodulationmethodused;-thecharacteristicsoftheembossedinformationonthedisk;-themagneto-opticalcharacteristicsofthedisk,enablingprocessingsystemstowritedataontothedisk;-theminimumqualityofuser-writtendataonthedisk,enablingdataprocessingsystemstoreaddatafromthedisk.ThisInternationalStandardprovidesforinterchangebetweenopticaldiskdrives.Togetherwithastandardforvolumeandfilestructure,itprovidesforfulldatainterchangebetweendataprocessingsystems.
